7th Annual ‘Make 12 Hours Count’ Radio Thon to Support Local Service Members, Veterans and Their Families is May 19
On May 19, the 7th Annual “Make 12 Hours Count” Radio Thon will once again hit the airways to show support for New Hampshire’s military heroes, and to honor all they and their families have sacrificed.
The 12-hour broadcast (from 7am – 7pm), presented by FedPoint, will highlight the challenges faced by our veterans in the state of NH, and how your support can help Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Services (MVS) and Veterans Count assist our service men and women in their time of need. In addition, the Radio Thon will feature MVS client stories, sponsor interviews, celebrity endorsements and military dignitaries.
This year, the broadcast will come to you from the radio stations of Binnie Media with host Jack Heath of ‘Good Morning NH.’ The Radio Thon will be heard on The Pulse of NH stations News Talk 107.3 WTPL, 98.1 WTSN, and 107.3 WEMJ, with additional support on music stations Frank FM, 105.5 JYY, Country 93.3 The Wolf, and Country 95.3 & 107.1 The Wolf.
“We are incredibly excited to be working with Easterseals and Veterans Count on this great fundraising effort,” says Massimo Rosati, President of Binnie Media. “Binnie Media and Binnie Family Charities has a long tradition of charitable partnerships and this is another opportunity to help a great cause.”
Over the past six years, the “Make 12 Hours Count” Radio Thon has raised more than $750,000 which has directly impacted the lives of service members, veterans and their families. To support the Radio Thon donors can call our phone bank at 1.844.650.VETS (8387) on May 19, from 7am-7pm, or you can make a donation online at vetscount.org/nh.
Since 2007, MVS has provided services to more than 18,000 NH service members, veterans and their families for challenges including suicide risk, unemployment, homelessness, substance use disorders, legal concerns, and mental health issues. In addition, MVS in partnership with Veterans Count, has provided emergency financial assistance for food, utilities, housing, transportation, fuel, and vehicle repair.
